Who are we?
Redefining accounts payable.
Springtime Technologies helps finance teams turn accounts payable from a manual cost centre into a source of real-time financial intelligence. Invoicetrack puts every invoice on a single platform, uses AI trained on each customer's own invoice history to resolve the exceptions that broke every earlier tool, and shows finance leaders exactly where to act first.
Founded in 2004 by AI pioneers and headquartered in Austria, we are a fast-growing team of finance and technology specialists, with teams in Germany, the UK, Finland and the Philippines. Our technology serves 200,000+ users in 75+ countries, and we measure ourselves by customer outcomes.
The Role.
Own the path to touchless AP.
Most AP automation stalls at around 60 to 70 percent. The rest still needs people. Springtime is building towards near-total automated processing, and this role owns that ambition.
As Product Manager for AP Automation, you ow: how invoices are captured, understood, enriched with accounting data and matched, so they pass straight through. Your success is measured in human touchpoints removed.
You join our product management organisation and work with a dedicated engineering team, alongside the product managers for Data & Integrations and for Workflow & Platform, who own the experience for the invoices that still need a person. Springtime is moving product decisions into product management, so you shape what gets built, not just how.
What will you do?
Automate the invoice lifecycle.
- Shape the automation roadmap. Identify where people still step in across the invoice lifecycle, decide which steps to automate first, and define clear measures of how many invoices truly need no manual touch.
- Improve extraction quality. Help us get more accurate data from PDFs and scanned invoices, and set the quality standards that the rest of our automation relies on.
Standardize e-invoicing. Make sure formats such as UBL and e-Factura are translated into Springtime’s internal standard, and keep the platform ready as new formats are introduced.
- Prepare invoices for posting. Turn invoice content into the accounting data our customers need, so invoices can be posted without manual coding.
- Develop our matching capabilities. Expand PO, contract, payment-plan, rules-based and AI-based matching so more invoices are processed automatically and fewer end up as exceptions.
- Work closely with your engineering team. Write clear problem statements and acceptance criteria, discuss trade-offs openly, and deliver improvements step by step.
- Keep the customer at the center. Use customer data, field feedback and input from our Customer Experience team to guide priorities, and partner with Workflow & Platform on cases that still need human handling.
What will you bring?
You have shipped automation, not just planned it.
- Product management experience in B2B SaaS. You have owned a product area end to end, ideally in accounts payable, procure-to-pay, document processing or finance operations.
- Automation and AI depth. You understand document extraction, matching logic and applied machine learning well enough to challenge engineers and judge what is realistic.
- Domain knowledge. You know how invoices, purchase orders and contracts work in practice. Experience with e-invoicing standards such as UBL is a strong plus.
- Outcomes over output. You define success in numbers, such as automation rate and touchless processing, and you track them honestly.
- Ownership and drive. You are ambitious, collaborative and want to make a visible difference. You take decisions and stand behind them.
- Clear communicator. Excellent English, and the ability to explain complex automation simply to engineers, customers and leadership alike.
