Jobbeschreibung

We love the magic of memory keeping

At Journi, we’re on a mission to build the world’s most-downloaded printing app.

With over 10 million users worldwide, we help people turn their favorite moments into beautifully designed Photo Books and Prints. Our smart AI makes the process fast, simple, and joyful, so our users can spend less time editing and more time reliving their best stories.

We're on the lookout for a Mid-level Product Analyst to join our Experience Design & Customer Insights team who wants to leave their fingerprints on how a fast-growing consumer app organization thinks about and uses data. You'll work alongside UX researchers and product designers, with PMs as a peer team. You'll also work closely with our ML & Data team, connecting product analytics to our broader data infrastructure.

Journi’s Product org is actively investing in its analytics maturity, and this role sits at the center of that effort. You'll have a genuine contribution to our product analytics foundation (primarily Amplitude), the data standards our product squads build on, and the analytical depth that supports how we make product decisions.

If the idea of developing both your analytical craft and helping build an ecosystem that makes data-informed decisions sustainable excites you, we'd love to hear from you!

What you'll do
  • Turn behavioral data into product decisions. Analyze funnels, retention, and engagement to inform OKRs and roadmaps. Contribute to our A/B test stats setup and rigor standards.

  • Make data accessible for product squads. Build Amplitude spaces, dashboard templates, and documentation teams can use independently. Support squads in building data fluency, whether they're pulling a chart or querying an AI agent.

  • Contribute to our product analytics ecosystem. Help evolve event taxonomy and metrics definitions. Identify tracking gaps during feature development and help establish standards that scale.

  • Hold the line on data quality. Make the case when data isn't ready to support a decision. Catch issues like sample ratio mismatches or inappropriate AI usage before they corrupt decisions.

  • Help define what good looks like. Identify where Amplitude capabilities could be used better and contribute to the standards and habits that make data-informed decisions the default.

Your bag of tricks
  • 3+ years in product analytics, ideally in B2C consumer apps. You understand funnels, retention, and user behavior from the perspective of a real customer, not just a data pipeline.

  • You've worked on analytics foundations in a fast-moving environment. You've contributed to event tracking, helped define standards, and put documentation in place that squads could actually use.

  • Strong Amplitude or similar tooling expertise. You know how to get the most out of our tooling and have experience working with clean, scalable event taxonomies.

  • Keep experimentation fast and trustworthy. You’ve helped squads avoid the pitfalls that corrupt results: underpowered tests, misconfigured confidence intervals, sample ratio mismatches.

  • You communicate with clarity and confidence. You can explain complex solutions and data to make them land with PMs, designers, and leadership alike.

  • You're an enabler, not just a provider. You enjoy supporting product teams toward better data habits and helping them become more independent in answering routine questions.

  • Solid SQL & strong Python. You reach for Python when the BI tool isn't enough: segmentation, statistical testing, cohort analysis.

  • You are permitted to work in the EU/Austria (OR have a university degree in Data/Computer Science which is required to apply for an Austrian work permit)

  • You are able to relocate to / based in Vienna - the world’s most liveable city!

Nice-to-haves
  • Experience working across multiple data platforms at scale: connecting product analytics, backend data, and marketing sources to close gaps and improve data quality

  • Experience running workshops with leadership in a startup or scale-up context
