Zusammenfassung

Infineon Technologies in Villach is seeking a Principal Engineer for Functional Verification to lead verification activities across the full development cycle, from planning to sign-off, and to own verification plans in collaboration with cross‑functional teams.

The role includes hands‑on IP/SoC verification using UVM, building scalable environments, developing testbenches for digital and mixed‑signal scenarios, leading debugging, and applying AI to accelerate workflows.

Qualifikationen

• University degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related technical field.
• At least 10 years of professional experience in ASIC verification, including end-to-end ownership of IP and SoC verification activities.
• Strong expertise in UVM and verification EDA toolchain, AMS verification and cross-skill development.
• Solid understanding of functional safety (ISO 26262) and security standards (ISO 21434) is considered an advantage
• Proficiency in Python, Tcl, or comparable scripting languages
• Proven experience applying AI/ML technologies to improve engineering efficiency and productivity
• Technical team lead or project management experience is a plus
• Excellent English communication skills; German language skills are an advantage

We offer competitive salaries and additional benefits based on your performance, experience and qualification. The employment is in accordance with the collective salary and wage agreement for employees of the electrical and electronics industry, employment group I (https://www.feei.at/leistungen/informations-service/mindestlohne-und-gehalter). The monthly salary is paid 14 times p.a. We offer a higher compensation depending on your expertise and skills.
