Job summary

European Tech Recruit partner with a leading semiconductor company in Graz to hire a Principal Embedded Cryptographic Software Developer. You will join a team developing state-of-the-art cryptographic libraries protected against physical and logical attacks, with applications across payments, identification, IoT, Automotive, and more.

You will architect, implement, and optimize cryptographic primitives (ECC, RSA, AES, SHA-2/3), and design countermeasures against side-channel and fault-injection

Qualifications

• 10+ years in cryptography and embedded security with strong primitives knowledge.
• Solid experience in embedded software development for microcontrollers.

Responsibilities

• Specification and cross-platform implementation of cryptographic algorithms including Post-Quantum cryptography.
• Design and implementation of software countermeasures against side-channel and fault-injection attacks.
• Provide technical leadership in cryptographic domains and influence architecture decisions.
• Collaborate with OS/firmware teams for secure integration into products.
• Drive product certification activities and support security evaluations.
