AGRANA seeks a Pricing Excellence Manager (m/f/d) to join our Commercial Excellence team at the Vienna site, on a full-time basis. You will shape pricing strategies and support divisions with structured, market- and value-based pricing approaches.

Fluency in German and English is required. The role emphasizes data-driven pricing, margin improvements, and collaboration with sales and senior leadership to unlock profitability.

• At least 3 years in pricing, commercial excellence or similar analytical role.
• Strong track record in pricing, margin improvement, or revenue optimization.
• Advanced Excel with data modeling or BI tools experience is a plus.

With around 9,000 employees, AGRANA is the global leader in fruit preparations and also a major producer of fruit juice concentrates in Europe as well as being a key manufacturer of customised starch products and organic ethanol in its Starch segment. AGRANA is also one of today’s leading sugar companies in Central and Eastern Europe.

To strengthen the execution of the AGRANA Next Level strategy we are seeking a dedicated Pricing Excellence Manager (m/f/d) to join our Commercial Excellence department at our Vienna site as soon as possible on a full-time basis.

In this strategically important role, you will help shape and drive Pricing Excellence as a key element of AGRANA’s strategic agenda, strengthening profitability across the Group through more transparent, structured, market- and value-based pricing approaches. You will support our divisions in identifying and capturing margin improvement opportunities and in further developing our pricing capabilities, particularly in the context of raw material-driven pricing dynamics.

Your responsibilities

• You drive and support pricing and margin improvement initiatives across the group, including the development of more structured pricing approaches and the alignment of pricing with raw material mechanisms in close collaboration with the divisions
• You analyze price, margin and customer performance across markets, segments and accounts and develop data‑driven models and simulations to identify and quantify profitability improvement potential
• Translate insights into impact by supporting and driving the implementation of pricing improvements (e.g. price realization, discount structures, segment differentiation) together with the business
• You act as a data‑driven sparring partner for sales and business leadership, providing fact‑based input and supporting selected strategic pricing or deal situations
• Develop and support more differentiated , segment‑based and value‑oriented pricing approaches, aligned with market dynamics and customer willingness‑to‑pay

Your profile

• Completed higher education (e.g. Business Administration, Finance, Economics or a related field)
• At least 3 years of professional experience in pricing, commercial excellence, strategy consulting or similar analytical role
• Strong track record in driving pricing, margin improvement, or revenue optimization initiatives
• Excellent analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to translate data into actionable business insights
• Advanced Excel skills; experience with data modeling, pricing analytics, or BI tools is a strong advantage
• Strong business acumen, with a solid understanding of financial drivers (price, volume, margin)
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience working with senior management and sales teams
• Proven project management skills and ability to work cross-functionally in an international environment
• Experience in FMCG, agriculture, or raw material-driven industries is a plus
• Fluency in German and English, both written and spoken
