The University of Vienna invites applications for a University assistant predoctoral in the Faculty of Psychology. You will join the Professorship of Psychotherapy and Psychotherapy Research and contribute to research, teaching and administration.

Qualifikationen

• Master's degree or diploma in psychology or related fields.
• Experience conducting studies at the intersection of psychotherapy and neuroscience.
• Postgraduate psychotherapy training or continuing education (in progress or completed).
• In-depth knowledge of psychophysiological methods.
• Excellent knowledge of programming and data analysis software (R, Python, MATLAB).
• Ability to present and address research questions in a structured manner.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Very good command of written and spoken English and German (C1).
• Initial experience publishing scholarly articles in journals with an impact factor, particularly as first author.
• Initial experience as a tutor and/or teaching assistant in psychotherapy.

Aufgaben

• Finalize dissertation agreement within 12-18 months.
• Participate in research projects / studies / publications.
• Submit project proposals and secure external funding.
• Organize meetings, conferences, and symposia.
