The University of Vienna invites applications for the University assistant predoctoral – Completion contract. The Vienna Doctoral School of Philosophy offers a 12-month Completion Contract for fellows of the DocSchool, employed as University Assistants (praedoc) at the Department of Philosophy.

You actively participate in research, complete and submit your dissertation, meet with your supervisor regularly to priority tasks and obtain support, and engage in departmental activities, workshops,

Qualifikationen

• Commitment to complete doctoral studies within the anticipated time frame.
• Excellent command of written and spoken English or German.
• High level of written and oral communication skills.

Aufgaben

• Complete and submit your dissertation.
• Meet with your supervisor on a regular basis to prioritise tasks and receive support.
• Participate in departmental and Doctoral School activities and workshops.
• Present and publish research results at conferences and in peer‑reviewed journals.
