Job summary

BRP-Rotax is seeking an Electrical/Electronic Component Owner for powertrain systems. You will oversee E/E components through the complete product development cycle, coordinating with international customers, suppliers, and internal teams.

The role requires a degree in Electrical/Electronics/Mechatronics or related field and 3+ years in automotive/industrial sectors with knowledge of CAN/LIN and vehicle electrical systems.

Qualifications

• Completed degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics, Automotive Engineering, or a comparable field.
• 3+ years of professional experience in automotive or industrial sectors.
• Experience with E/E components and vehicle electrical systems (ECUs, sensors, actuators).
• Understanding of product development processes and technical specifications.
• Nice to have knowledge of ASPICE and ISO 26262.

Responsibilities

• Own selected electrical and electronic components for powertrain systems across development.
• Coordinate topics with international customers, suppliers, and internal teams.
• Create and maintain system and component requirements specs.
• Plan and track development activities for quality, cost, and timing.
• Coordinate prototypes and plan, execute, evaluate tests and validations.
• Perform root cause analyses and implement corrective actions.
• Support release processes and ramp-up during series production.
