BRP-Rotax, part of the BRP group, develops intelligent vehicle control systems for powertrain applications and AI-powered mobility solutions. We offer an international environment with strong focus on cybersecurity, functional safety and innovative software in a future-oriented mobility context.

The role covers embedded software development, testing, and tool creation for automated verification, while participating in ASPICE, ISO 26262, and AUTOSAR processes.

Formación

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Embedded Systems, Telematics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechatronics, Automotive Engineering or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of embedded software development and development processes.
• Experience with software development standards such as ASPICE, ISO 26262, and AUTOSAR is a plus.
• Knowledge of multi-domain control units is advantageous.
• Proficiency in C, C#, and Python.
• Understanding of powertrain technologies is beneficial.
• Very good English and good German skills.
• Proactive personality with passion for powersports and innovative mobility solutions.

Responsabilidades

• Take responsibility for the development and testing of embedded software for Rotax powertrain control systems.
• Develop tools for automated software verification, including SiL, PiL, and static code analysis.
• Contribute to the design of a multi-domain software architecture for next generation control units.
• Help shape software development processes with regard to ASPICE, Functional Safety, and Cybersecurity.
• Manage software development projects.
• Contribute to the development and integration of AI-based applications.

Your new adventure

• Take responsibility for the development and testing of embedded software for Rotax powertrain control systems
• Develop highly integrated tools for automated software verification, including SiL, PiL, and static code analysis
• Contribute to the design of a multi-domain software architecture for the next generation of control units
• Help shape software development processes with regard to ASPICE, Functional Safety, and Cybersecurity
• Manage software development projects
• Contribute to the development and integration of AI-based applications

Your Experiences and Skills

• Successfully completed a degree (University of Applied Sciences or University) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Embedded Systems, Telematics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechatronics, Automotive Engineering, or a comparable field
• Strong knowledge of embedded software development, including the design and implementation of associated development processes
• Experience with software development standards such as ASPICE, ISO 26262, and AUTOSAR is an advantage
• Knowledge of multi-domain control units is considered a plus
• Programming skills in C, C#, and Python
• Understanding of electrical and/or combustion engine powertrain technologies is an advantage
• Very good English skills and good German language skills
• Proactive personality with a passion for powersports and innovative mobility solutions

We offer

You will be offered an exciting position in an international company with many interesting benefits and diverse development opportunities. The minimum salary for this position is EUR 53,240.98 gross/year in accordance with the collective agreement for the metal industry. Depending on your qualifications and professional experience, we offer an attractive and performance-related salary with corresponding overpayment.
