Zusammenfassung

The University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences, Vienna (BOKU) invites applications for a Postdoctoral Research Associate (Senior Scientist) in Vienna. The position is designed for individuals with a disability rating of at least 50% and involves scientific and organizational co-management of the BOKU Forest-Wood Cluster.

Part-time (10 hours/week) with a permanent contract and a gross monthly salary of at least €1,253.60, payable 14 times per year. Starting date is 1 November 2026.

Qualifikationen

• PhD or equivalent in a relevant field.
• Very good German and English language skills.
• Experience in science communication and creating presentation materials.
• Experience in managing and editing websites and digital communication channels is an advantage.
• Independent, structured, and reliable working style.

Aufgaben

• Scientific and organizational co-management of the BOKU Forest-Wood Cluster currently under development.
• Support in the further development and positioning of the Cluster.
• Scientific coordination, preparation, and alignment of Cluster content.
• Development and implementation of the Cluster's science communication strategy, including materials
• Development, management, and ongoing content development of the Cluster website and online content.
• Support in organizing events and increasing visibility of the cluster.
