Qualifikationen

• Doctoral degree/PhD in Geosciences, environmental sciences, remote sensing or computational sciences or image vision and related fields.
• Excellent English skills, German is beneficial.

Aufgaben

• Establish own research group focusing on advanced machine learning and deep learning for remote sensing (satellite EO, airborne and terrestrial laserscanning).
• Teach courses at undergraduate and graduate levels (4 weekly semester hours).
• Acquire third-party-funded research projects and publish in journals and conferences.
• Supervise students and researchers; participate in knowledge transfer and scientific outreach.
