Job summary

enspired GmbH is seeking a Junior People Operations Expert to provide internal HR and payroll support across multiple countries. This fixed-term parental leave cover starts January 2027 and runs through September 2028.

You will handle employee records, payroll administration with external partners, and HRMS data across locations. You thrive in a service-oriented culture, value teamwork, and are eager to learn in a start-up environment.

Qualifications

• At least two years of experience in people operations.
• General understanding of employment regulations and labour law.
• Service-oriented mindset with strong team spirit, scalability mindset, and creative freedom.
• Willingness to tailor learning journey and focus on what inspires you most.
• Excellent English; German language is a plus.
• Comfort with drafting letters, using Excel, and designing presentations.
• Strong organizational skills with detail orientation.
• Interest in AI and familiarity with HRMS systems is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative support and maintain employee records and documents.

We are looking for an empathetic Junior People Operations Expert (f/m/x), ideally with a background in start-up or scale-up environments. The focus of this role is to provide an excellent internal support across all HR/People and payroll matters. This is a fixed-term parental leave cover position until September 2028, starting in January 2027.

Support our enspis and manage their data

This is a support role where you can build on your existing expertise. As part of our handpicked team of experts, you play an integral role in the following areas:

• Providing administrative support, creating and maintaining employee records and documents,
• Taking ownership of payroll administration, working with our external partners in eight different countries,
• Helping to maintain the internal HRMS databases across all locations,
• Taking ownership of the central People inbox and being the first point of contact for all HR matters and inquiries,
• Supporting compliance matters and document administration in line with local labour laws
• Supporting the entire employee life cycle by improving automation and fostering a positive experience at every stage,
• Collaborating across departments to support employee engagement.
