Amazon Web Services (AWS) in Vienna is seeking a Partner Solutions Architect focused on SAP to help SAP workloads move to the cloud and modernize with AWS data, analytics, generative AI, and intelligent automation. You will work with AWS Consulting Partners across EMEA to scope, migrate, and design scalable SAP on AWS solutions.
You will enable partners, craft reference architectures, and lead workshops on migration, resilience, security, and cost optimization, aligning SAP workloads with AWS
Are you passionate about how SAP workloads transform when they move to the cloud — and about the innovation that becomes possible once they are there? As a Partner Solutions Architect focused on SAP, you will work with AWS Consulting and Technology Partners across EMEA to help them build, migrate, and modernize SAP solutions on AWS, and then unlock new value on top of those estates with AWS data, analytics, generative AI, agentic systems, and intelligent automation.
You will enable partners on SAP on AWS architectures — migration, resilience, security, and modernization — and guide them to combine SAP with AWS capabilities to deliver differentiated customer outcomes at scale. SAP sits at the core of how millions of companies run their day-to-day operations; you will help partners modernize these mission-critical estates and build the next generation of intelligent solutions on top of them, accelerating their customers’ businesses across EMEA. This is a role for a self-starter who is energised by ambiguity, has a bias for action, and can identify untapped opportunities — someone who sees what others miss and builds where others wait, operating at the intersection of enterprise SAP landscapes, AWS cloud, and emerging technology.
No two days are the same. You might start by whiteboarding an SAP on AWS landing zone with a consulting partner’s delivery team, reviewing high-availability, disaster-recovery, and security design for a large S/4HANA migration. Later, you could be building a generative AI demo on Amazon Bedrock that orchestrates SAP workflows, or showing a partner how to extend SAP with AWS data and analytics services. After lunch, you might run a workshop with SI partners on a new reference architecture, before ending the day in a strategy session to refine an ongoing sales play based on newly released AWS for SAP solutions. You will also spend time creating reusable enablement assets, guiding partners through SAP on AWS best practices, and collaborating with AWS field teams to match partner capabilities with customer demand. Some days are heavy on building; others on presenting, teaching, or strategizing — but the pace of innovation is constant.
You will join the EMEA Partner Solutions Architecture (PSA) organization within the AWS Partner Organization (APO). The PSA team serves as a scale engine for AWS, propelling growth by recruiting, activating, and developing partners. We provide the technical enablement and thought leadership that helps partners build and sell solutions on AWS. This role sits within the Solutions PSA team, which drives AWS growth through differentiated partner solutions across industries and horizontals — including SAP and enterprise applications. The team operates across EMEA, collaborating with commercial sales, industry SAs, and the broader partner ecosystem. You will have flexibility to travel across the region to work directly with partners and attend industry events. AWS champions diversity and welcomes candidates with non-traditional backgrounds and varied experiences. Our team environment emphasizes curiosity, mentorship, and continuous learning, and we support professional growth while maintaining work-life harmony.
