Job summary

Gurkerl in Vienna is seeking a Process Manager, Operations to optimize and scale our last-mile fulfillment across multiple European markets. You will analyze workflow data, design detailed process specs for developers, and ensure successful rollouts across sites.

The role blends operations and product-thinking with hands-on field work, using Lean, Six Sigma, and DMAIC to improve efficiency and accuracy. Hybrid work options are available onsite in Austria.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience in operations, process engineering, or JIT logistics in fast-paced environments.
• Hands-on mastery of Lean, Six Sigma, DMAIC, VSM, Ishikawa.
• Strong Excel skills (Pivot tables, complex formulas) to evaluate KPIs.
• Ability to translate operational requirements into clear process documentation for engineers.
• Experience producing SOPs, training materials, and change-management docs.
• English proficiency at least B2 (written and spoken).

Responsibilities

• Identify bottlenecks and root causes across fulfillment center and last-mile operations.
• Develop and document detailed target process designs and translate requirements into technical specs.
• Apply Lean/Six Sigma methodologies to streamline workflows.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, software developers, engineering, and ops teams.
• Define KPIs, build ROI/business cases, and track impact post-rollout.
• Write SOPs and support site teams for smooth rollouts.
• Feed field insights into continuous improvement roadmaps.
