Job summary

Google is hiring a Lead Site HR Business Partner for its Austria Data Center. This onsite role requires presence up to four days a week and coordination with site leaders, local Works Council, and labor authorities to ensure compliant, high‑trust people operations.

You will partner with regional and GX teams to translate global People plans into site actions, handle HR tickets end‑to‑end, and help Googlers thrive in a fast‑growing, data‑driven environment.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
6 years of HRBP/HR Generalist experience providing consultations.
Experience with Austrian labor relations and local employment law including CBA; fluent English and German.

Responsibilities

Act as a thought partner for Site Leads and manager communities to identify and execute site-specific people priorities.
Monitor labor trends and foster a high-trust, direct-engagement culture with the Works Council.
Navigate DC operational nuances including shift management, working time, and site-specific safety and labor law requirements.
Integrate people-related initiatives into the daily Data Center operations for a consistent Googler experience.
Manage DC-related people tickets and employee cases end-to-end, coordinating with GX teams as needed.
