Zusammenfassung

Matchtech seeks a Health and Safety Advisor for data centre construction, based on-site in Linz, Austria. This fixed-term, full-time position requires a NEBOSH certificate and extensive construction H&S experience to develop policies and ensure safe operations across live sites.

You will collaborate with the Head of Health and Safety, Project Managers and site crews to drive compliant safety standards, conduct risk assessments, audits and incident investigations, with travel across European

Qualifikationen

• Minimum 3 years' H&S experience on construction sites (data centre / high-spec environments beneficial).
• Strong risk assessment and risk management capability.
• Confident communicator with strong written English.
• NEBOSH Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety (or equivalent) - mandatory.
• ISO-standard auditing experience and incident investigation training - advantageous.
• Willingness to travel across multiple European/UK project locations.

Aufgaben

• Develop and implement H&S policies, procedures and safe systems of work.
• Deliver H&S training and toolbox talks.
• Complete risk assessments and advise on effective controls.
• Carry out site inspections, audits and compliance checks.
• Investigate incidents and recommend preventative actions.
• Produce internal H&S reports and support continuous improvement.
• Build relationships with site teams and address unsafe behaviours.
