As part of our Ocean Freight team in Vienna, you will independently manage international sea freight shipments and have a direct impact on smooth operations. You will work closely with customers and our global network, build international expertise and continuously develop both professionally and personally.

About the Role:

• Independent preparation of quotations and transport cost calculations for import and export shipments
• End-to-end management of sea freight shipments from planning and documentation to final delivery
• Shipment monitoring and proactive, solution-oriented deviation management
• Close coordination with customers, shipping lines and partners as well as rate and capacity negotiations
• Professional and service-oriented support of international customers and partners
• Building long-term business relationships

What You’ll Bring:

• Completed commercial education (e.g. business school, freight forwarding apprenticeship or equivalent qualification)
• Several years of professional experience in sea freight
• Fluency in German and good knowledge of English
• Excellent MS Office skills and confident use of common business tools
• Strong organizational skills combined with a structured, independent working style and a strong service orientation
• Team player with a pro-active, solution-oriented approach

Compensation

We offer an attractive salary in line with the market with a willingness to overpay depending on qualifications and experience. The minimum salary is € 2,285.10 gross/month (full-time) according to the collective agreement. We will agree your actual salary individually in a personal interview!
