BioVendor Group invites applications for an NGS Molecular Diagnostic Product Developer (m/f/d). Join our Molecular Diagnostics Division in Vienna and Brno, contributing to innovation in molecular diagnostic products and technologies that advance global healthcare outcomes.

You will lead R&D projects from concept to validation and transfer to manufacturing, ensuring regulatory compliance and robust documentation. A MSc/PhD with 2+ years in the field is expected.

Qualifikationen

• University degree: MSc or PhD in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Medical Genetics or related field.
• 2+ years of product development experience in molecular diagnostics.
• Hands-on molecular biology techniques, PCR and NGS with short- and long-read platforms.
• Experience with NGS workflows, library prep, and data analysis.
• Familiarity with IVDR regulations is a plus.

Aufgaben

• Development and lifecycle management of new molecular diagnostic products.
• Assay design and experimental development for long-read and short-read sequencing and PCR-based platforms.
• Data analysis and optimization of bioinformatic pipelines.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation per IVDR and ISO standards.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, QC, Marketing, Sales, and Applications teams.
