Job summary

Solana Foundation is hiring a New Media Lead to build its presence beyond X. You will write, shoot, edit, post, and read the numbers at speed, across YouTube, TikTok, and other platforms.

You'll develop platform growth theses, create recurring formats, nurture on‑camera talent, and plan content around major events, while tailoring content for regional and non‑English audiences and ensuring timely, legally compliant output.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated success growing long-form video presence with measurable results.
• Hands-on production ability to take an idea to published video.
• Native fluency in crypto culture and high content literacy.
• Strong instinct for formats and what works across platforms.
• Comfort being on camera or a clear plan for talent.
• Judgment to represent a foundation and not a personal brand.
• Fluency with AI tooling for scripting, editing, thumbnails, localization.
• Proven audience-building experience.
• Proficient editing in Premiere, CapCut or After Effects.
• Experience with non-English audiences and localization.

Responsibilities

• Develop growth theses for new platforms (YouTube, TikTok, Fomo) and tailor content.
• Create recurring formats to build subscriptions and engagement.
• Build on-camera talent from across the ecosystem.
• Plan and produce content around events like Breakpoint, Accelerate, Hacker Houses.
• Develop regional non-English formats for existing audiences.
• Turn around timely content on moments that matter.
• Translate audience insights into actionable feedback for the team.
• Integrate new-platform content into priority campaigns with the Social Lead.
• Manage editors and contractors within budget and cadence.
• Create content that clears legal review while staying edge.
• Prioritize retention, subscriptions, and participation; impressions are a byproduct.
