Wolt is seeking a Merchant Onboarding Specialist to travel to restaurants, onboard them to our products, and enhance their lifecycle experience on our platform.

You will work across sales, account management, operations, product, and analytics to deliver a delightful merchant experience. The role is hybrid, partly remote and partly in-office, with significant travel across the region.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• Fluent in German and English.
• 3+ years of operations or project management experience, POS/network devices a plus.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong customer support skills.
• Proactive, able to work cross-functionally.
• Driver’s license and willingness to travel 50% of the time.

Wolt is looking for a Merchant Onboarding Specialist to travel to restaurants to onboard them to our products and enhance the experience they have throughout their lifecycle on our platform. You'll work cross-functionally between our sales, account management, operations, product, and analytics teams to build a delightful experience for our merchants.

You will report to the Onboarding Lead for your geo within our Platform Operations organization. This position is partially remote, partially in-office, and largely travel-based as you will be regularly traveling to merchant sites in your region and across the country.

What you’ll be doing

• Interface directly with merchant restaurants and work tirelessly to improve their experience
• You will be the main POC delivery, assembly and installation of our hardware products
• Create and execute plans for merchant onboarding strategy, building a seamless onboarding experience that delights merchants
• Create, execute and update support material in collaboration with Wolt Support
• Perform a significant amount of hands‑on and in‑store work, training merchant staff on effectively using new platforms
• Specifically you will be responsible for installing Wolt POS services, including e.g. wiring them with ethernet cables and troubleshooting connectivity issues
• Create merchant training materials to encourage staff understanding and adoption
• Learn the ins-and-outs of Wolt software configuration and oversee the implementation of digital ordering and SaaS tools
• Work closely together with a 3PL logistics/assembly partner handling deliveries
• Identify opportunities to improve upon existing merchant workflows to encourage adoption and maximize revenue
• Be able to achieve immediate results and adapt in an evolving work environment
• Look for ways to improve and want to shape the direction of the company

Our humble expectations

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
• You speak both German and English fluently
• 3+ years of work experience in operations or project management, working with POS / network devices is a plus
• Able to complete tasks accurately, effectively and on time with superb attention to detail
• Excellent external and internal customer support skills
• Experience working successfully cross functionally with other departments
• Proactive by nature and most engaged when you are operating at the lowest level of detail
• Drivers licence and willingness to travel 50% of time

What your typical work day might look like…

• Start of the week you sync with sales to get on track with latest signings
• Plan onboardings for the week and confirm dates and times together with the venue
• Ensure that hardware is delivered to the to-be onboarded venues in time
• Travel between venues, onboarding and troubleshooting if needed
• Manage hardware supply and ensure we have everything stocked
• Work with product and support to share learnings

We offer an attractive salary starting at 57.904 € p.a. (40h/week) which is adjusted and increased depending how well you go through the process.
