Zusammenfassung

Unzer is hiring a Merchant Onboarding Manager to drive a seamless, compliant onboarding experience for merchants across onboarding systems. You will conduct KYC/KYB/AML due diligence and ensure regulatory alignment throughout the lifecycle.

You will collaborate with Compliance, Risk and Sales to manage end-to-end cases, maintain documentation and drive improvements. A background of 1–3 years in merchant onboarding or financial services is ideal.

Qualifikationen

• 1–3 years of experience in merchant onboarding, KYC/KYB, AML/CFT, or financial services.
• Understanding of payment products and merchant acquiring processes.
• Strong knowledge of AML/CFT legislation, KYC/KYB/ODD requirements, including Sanctions, PEP, and Adverse Media screening.
• Ability to analyse corporate structures, ownership chains and contractual documentation.
• Experience with CRM/onboarding platforms (MS Dynamics, Console or equivalent).

Aufgaben

• Manage end-to-end onboarding cases for new and existing merchants across all supported payment products using onboarding systems.
• Perform merchant risk assessments and KYC/KYB/AML due diligence, including Sanctions, PEP and Adverse Media screening.
• Execute ODD, periodic reviews, trigger event reviews and remediation activities for existing merchants throughout the lifecycle.
• Review and validate customer documentation, ownership structures, UBOs, authorized signatories, contracts and supporting evidence for regulatory compliance.
• Monitor onboarding cases, identify missing information and coordinate with merchants and stakeholders to drive completion.
• Escalate complex or high-risk cases to Compliance, Risk or other stakeholders as needed.
• Facilitate technical and billing onboarding and ensure proper handover to downstream teams.
• Ensure cases are completed accurately within SLAs and regulatory/internal standards.
• Apply new regulatory/internal policy requirements as processes evolve.
• Maintain accurate documentation in relevant systems.
• Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and contribute ideas for process improvements.
