Job summary

Incyte is seeking a Medical Advisor in Austria to support the Medical Strategy and Medical Plan execution. You will translate scientific insights into actionable actions with measurable medical impact, contribute to launch readiness, omnichannel engagement, and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

Advanced scientific or clinical degree required (MD, PhD, PharmD or equivalent).
Typically, 3–5 years of hematology/oncology experience; Medical Affairs or equivalent experience preferred.
Willingness to travel within Austria and internationally (up to ~50%).

Responsibilities

Develop and execute country Medical Plans aligned with regional/global priorities; translate strategy into tactics with KPIs.
Provide scientific leadership within cross-functional teams and maintain current knowledge of disease landscape.
Lead stakeholder engagement plans with External Experts, societies, investigators, and HCPs; ensure non-promotional scientific exchange.
Represent Incyte at congresses and medical meetings; support external experts in scientific activities.
Respond to unsolicited medical information requests and ensure appropriate follow-up.
Identify local evidence gaps and support RWE/HEOR and Investigator-Initiated Research aligned with evidence plans.
