Zusammenfassung

Lam Research in Villach is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to support pilot production and high-volume manufacturing. You will oversee planning, development and maintenance of manufacturing methods and processes, tackling technical and production challenges.

The role requires 5+ years in related fields, hands-on CAD/NX experience, and strong English communication. Travel to suppliers and remote factories is expected; Lam emphasizes hybrid and on-site work options.

Qualifikationen

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with 5+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering.
Experience with lean manufacturing and Design for Manufacturing.
Hands-on CAD/NX or similar tools.
Strong English communication skills.

Aufgaben

Verify designs of new modules/products/changes and analyze design for manufacturing.
Combine BOM strategy with manufacturing line
Review design solutions in terms of safety, ergonomics, tooling, Form-Fit-Function
Create Work Instructions and production process steps
Implement cost-efficient methods of assembly for all phases of manufacturing.
Implement non standard customer requests onto products and transfer to manufacturing
Support to transfer new products into high volume manufacturing.
Work closely with suppliers and remote factories (including traveling)
Implement new ideas and defining new ways of processes to reduce costs and assembly time
Continuous Improvement for products, process and manufacturing
