Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years relevant experience or equivalent in technical education/HTL
• Lean manufacturing and Design for Manufacturing experience preferred
• Strong CAD/NX or similar tools proficiency; proficient in English communication

Aufgaben

• Verify designs of new modules/products/changes and analyze design for manufacturing.
• Combine BOM strategy with manufacturing line
• Review design solutions in terms of safety, ergonomics, tooling, Form-Fit-Function
• Create Work Instructions and production process steps
• Implement cost-efficient methods of assembly for all phases of manufacturing.
• Implement non standard customer requests onto products and transfer to manufacturing
• Support to transfer new products into high volume manufacturing.
• Work closely with suppliers and remote factories (including traveling)
• Implement new ideas and defining new ways of processes to reduce costs and assembly time
• Continuous Improvement for products, process and manufacturing

Ausbildung

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field with 5+ years of experience; or equivalent experience (Technical education/HTL Electrical/Mechatronic)
