The University of Graz invites applications for the First Stage Researcher (R1) position in the Centre of European Private Law. The role is primarily based in Vienna with partial Graz work, and involves cooperation on third-party funded research projects and teaching activities.

You should hold a law degree, have strong German and English skills, and be enthusiastic about academic work and supervising students. The position is part-time and salary is commensurate with qualifications.

Qualifikationen

• Completed diploma or master’s degree in law with above-average success.
• Excellent German language skills (spoken and written).

• Didactic competence and experience in supporting research and teaching (desirable).

Aufgaben

• Cooperation in the institute’s research projects (Vienna core, Graz partial).
• Conducting courses and assisting in applications for research projects.
• Participation in examinations and student supervision.
• Assistance with organizational and administrative tasks and evaluation measures.
