Zusammenfassung

Universität Graz sucht eine/n Rechtswissenschaftler/in für eine Position am Institut für Europäisches Zivilrecht. Sie arbeiten am Institut, hauptsächlich in Wien, teilweise in Graz, und tragen zu Drittmittel- und Forschungsprojekten bei.

Zu Ihren Aufgaben gehören Lehrveranstaltungen, Antragstellungen für Forschungsprojekte, Prüfungsteilnahme sowie Betreuung von Studierenden; außerdem unterstützen Sie organisatorische und administrative Aufgaben sowie Auswertungen.

Qualifikationen

  • Abgeschlossenes Diplom- oder Masterstudium der Rechtswissenschaften mit überdurchschnittlichem Erfolg.
  • Gute Kenntnisse des österreichischen Privatrechts und angrenzender Rechtsgebiete
  • Ausgezeichnete Deutschkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift
  • Sehr gute Englischkenntnisse (eine weitere Fremdsprache wünschenswert)
  • Umfassende IT-Kenntnisse
  • Freude an der wissenschaftlichen Arbeit und am Arbeiten mit Studierenden
  • Didaktische Kompetenz sowie Erfahrung in der Unterstützung von Forschung und Lehre (wünschenswert)
  • Kommunikations-, Organisations- und Teamfähigkeiten

Aufgaben

  • Mitwirkung an Drittmittel- und anderen Forschungsprojekten am Institut für Europäisches Zivilrecht (Universität Graz, Hauptarbeitsort Wien, teilweise Graz)
  • Durchführung und Teilnahme an Lehrveranstaltungen
  • Unterstützung bei Anträgen für Forschungsprojekte
  • Mitwirkung bei Prüfungen und Betreuung der Studierenden
  • Unterstützung in organisatorischen und administrativen Aufgaben sowie Auswertungen

Your Responsibilities
  • Cooperation in the institute's third-party funded and other research projects at the Institute for European Tort Law of the Austrian Academy of Sciences and the University of Graz (place of work mainly Vienna, partially Graz)
  • Conducting of and participation in courses
  • Assistance in the application for research projects
  • Participation in examinations and support in student supervision
  • Participation in organizational and administrative tasks as well as in evaluation measures
Your Profile
  • Completed diploma or master's degree in law with above-average success
  • Good knowledge of Austrian Private Law and associated areas of law
  • Excellent German language skills (spoken and written)
  • Very good English language skills (another foreign language desirable)
  • Comprehensive IT skills
  • Enjoyment of academic work and working with students
  • Didactic competence as well as experience in supporting research and teaching (desirable)
  • Communication, organisational and team skills

We offer an annual gross salary of at least € 52,865.40 for a fulltime position. An overpayment based on qualification and experience is possible.
