Job summary

Netcup is seeking a Kubernetes Software Developer to build a Kubernetes-as-a-service platform using Go, Kubernetes, and GitLab in a GitOps workflow with Flux. You will contribute to provisioning, management, and operation of customer clusters while enhancing automation and reliability.

The role requires Go and Kubernetes experience, Linux skills, and fluent German and English. Remote-friendly with international collaboration, Vienna, Graz, Klagenfurt, Karlsruhe locations are listed.

Qualifications

• Completed education or relevant work experience in a similar role.
• Experience with Go and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of Ansible and Terraform is a plus.
• Linux expertise and understanding of networks, servers, and distributed systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop a Kubernetes-as-a-service platform for Anexia customers, including provisioning, management and operation of Kubernetes clusters.
• Use CI/CD pipelines (GitLab) in a GitOps workflow based on Flux.
• Further develop the managed Kubernetes service.
• Write Kubernetes controllers to automate customer cluster control planes.
• Ensure smooth operation of the platform.
