OpenBet in Austria (Tirol, Lienz) seeks a Junior Data Engineer to help build and operate reliable data pipelines powering analytics and responsible gaming solutions. You’ll work hands-on with Google Cloud services and collaborate closely with engineering and customer teams to ensure high‑quality, trusted data.

You’ll join a global team delivering scalable data products, improving data quality, and supporting onboarding of new customers.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor-level education in computer science, software or data engineering or equivalent experience.
• Hands-on data engineering or software engineering experience (1–2 years).
• Solid SQL and Python fundamentals, and cloud familiarity.
• Exposure to Google Cloud services and data pipelines favored.

Aufgaben

• Developing and operating data pipelines on Google Cloud (BigQuery, Spanner, Cloud Storage, Pub/Sub, Dataflow, Composer/Airflow).
• Building new data loads and integrations from customer systems.
• Monitoring data quality, implementing checks and documentation for reliability.
• Supporting onboarding of new customers and go-lives.
• Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues, collaborating on fixes.
• Acting as a technical partner to customers and translating needs into actions.
