Job summary

Proactive Global in Austria is seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to own IT projects from planning through delivery, collaborating with software, IT and engineering teams as well as customers and stakeholders.

You will coordinate timelines, risks and resources, ensure quality and governance, and contribute to continuous improvement in an international, hybrid work environment with relocation to Austria considered.

Qualifications

• Several years' experience managing IT/software projects.
• Experience coordinating technical teams and multiple stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of software development and IT environments.
• Experience managing project timelines, risks, dependencies and resources.
• Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.
• A structured and organised approach to project delivery.
• Experience working in Agile environments.
• Ability to work effectively in an international environment.
• Strong English communication skills, German is a plus.
• Experience within logistics, warehouse automation, WMS, WCS, supply chain or industrial technology.

Responsibilities

• Manage IT/software projects from initiation through delivery.
• Define project scope, objectives, milestones and delivery plans.
• Coordinate cross-functional technical teams and stakeholders.
• Manage project timelines, priorities, risks and dependencies.
• Act as a key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.
• Gather and clarify business and technical requirements.
• Monitor project progress and communicate updates to senior stakeholders.
• Identify issues and implement appropriate solutions.
• Support resource planning and project coordination.
• Ensure effective documentation and project governance.
• Work closely with software, IT and engineering teams throughout delivery.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of project management processes and ways of working.
