Job summary

CROWDCONSULTANTS is seeking a skilled IT Infrastructure Engineer to operate and maintain hybrid environments, including on-prem servers, VMware, and Azure. You will manage Active Directory and Entra (Azure AD), ensuring 2nd/3rd line support and proactive issue resolution.

In this role you will monitor performance, drive automation, and contribute to the deployment of new infrastructure solutions with architecture teams. English is essential; German is a plus.

Qualifications

• Strong experience with Windows Server and Linux Server in hybrid infrastructures.
• Hands-on expertise with VMware vSphere and Microsoft Entra/Azure AD.
• Experience in ITIL-based environments and incident/problem/change management.
• Solid knowledge of networking fundamentals (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, VPN, VLANs, Firewalls).
• Scripting/automation with PowerShell, Bash, or Python is a plus.

YOUR MISSION

• Operate and maintain hybrid infrastructure environments across on-premise servers (Windows/Linux), VMware, storage, backup (Veeam), and Microsoft Azure
• Manage and support identity services including Active Directory and Microsoft Entra (Azure AD)

YOUR EXPERIENCE & TALENTS

• Strong experience in Windows Server, Linux Server, VMware vSphere, Active Directory, Microsoft Entra, and Microsoft Azure
• Solid knowledge of hybrid infrastructure operations, backup solutions (Veeam or equivalent), and system administration
• Experience working in ITIL-based environments (Incident, Problem, Change Management)
• Good understanding of network fundamentals (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, VPN, VLANs, Firewalls)
• Scripting/automation skills in PowerShell, Bash, or Python considered a strong advantage
• Relevant certifications are a plus: AZ-104, VCP-DCV, VMCE, ITIL Foundation, or equivalent
• Structured, hands-on operational mindset with strong troubleshooting and ownership mentality
• Very good English skills (German is a plus)
