Zusammenfassung

Transped Gruppe is seeking an IT Systems Administrator to oversee configuration, maintenance, and reliable operation of the company’s IT infrastructure. You will manage on-premises and cloud environments, monitor systems, troubleshoot issues, and support multiple departments to align with security standards.

The role focuses on administering Windows Server, Active Directory, VMware, and network security, while collaborating with teams to implement efficient IT solutions and documentation

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience in systems administration or IT infrastructure management.
• Strong knowledge of Active Directory, Windows Server, and Microsoft 365.
• Experience with VMware vCenter, virtual machines, and storage technologies.
• Knowledge of backup solutions, endpoint management, and cloud platforms.
• Experience with networking technologies, particularly Cisco and Fortinet.
• Experience with DaaS (Citrix) and MDM (Intune) is a plus.
• Knowledge of SQL Server and Salesforce is a plus.

Aufgaben

• Administer, configure, and optimize IT infrastructure, including Windows Server, AD, Exchange, Entra ID, DNS, DHCP, CA, and related technologies.
• Manage and improve VMware virtualization environment.
• Administer and support Cisco Call Manager, firewalls, VPNs, and backup solutions to ensure a secure/stable IT environment.
• Provide end-user support, troubleshoot incidents, and document solutions in the knowledge base.
• Create and maintain documentation for system configurations and IT processes.
• Lead and support IT projects while continuously improving IT infrastructure and implementing new IT solutions.

As an IT Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for the configuration, maintenance, and reliable operation of our IT infrastructure. This includes managing servers, networks, and security systems to ensure business continuity and seamless day-to-day operations. You will proactively monitor our systems, troubleshoot technical issues, and support both on-premises and cloud-based environments. Working closely with the IT team and other departments, you will implement solutions that align with our business objectives and security standards.

Your Responsibilities

• Administer, configure, and optimize our IT infrastructure, including Windows Server, Active Directory, Exchange, Entra ID, DNS, DHCP, Certificate Services (CA), and related technologies


• Manage and continuously improve our VMware virtualization environment


• Administer and support additional IT systems, including Cisco Call Manager, firewalls, VPNs, and backup solutions, ensuring a secure and stable IT environment


• Provide end-user support, troubleshoot technical issues, resolve incidents, and document solutions in our knowledge base
