Zusammenfassung

GEODATA Surveying & Monitoring Group in Austria is seeking an IT Infrastructure Administrator to manage a predominantly Microsoft-based system landscape, including cloud and on-premises solutions. You will expand Azure, networking, storage and backup systems and provide IT infrastructure for customer projects.

The role requires MS SQL Server, Azure and Microsoft 365 experience, a structured, self-reliant work style, and several years in a similar position.

Qualifikationen

• Completed technical education (HTL, university of applied sciences, or equivalent).
• IT infrastructure expertise in Microsoft Server environments, virtualization, backup solutions and networks.
• Experience in administering MS SQL Server, Azure and Microsoft 365.
• Self-reliant, structured work approach and ability to perform under pressure.
• Several years of practical experience (2–5 years) in a comparable position.

Your Responsibilities

IT Infrastructure Administration

Administration and operation of a predominantly Microsoft-based system landscape, including cloud and on-premises solutions.

Responsibility for the expansion and optimization of Azure, networking, storage, and backup systems.

IT Infrastructure for Customer Projects

Provision and support of customized IT environments for a wide range of projects.

2nd Level Support & Service Management

Identification and evaluation of new technologies to continuously enhance and evolve the IT landscape.

Active participation in the implementation of company-wide digitalization initiatives.

Your Profile

Technical Education

Completed technical education (HTL, university of applied sciences, or equivalent) as a solid foundation.

IT Infrastructure Expertise

Knowledge of Microsoft Server environments, virtualization, backup solutions, and network technologies.

Experience in the administration of MS SQL Server, Azure, and Microsoft 365.

Self-reliant and structured approach to work, able to perform effectively even under pressure.

Professional Experience

Several years of practical experience (2–5 years) in a comparable position.

Structured, Accurate & Analytical Thinking

Careful and quality-oriented working style with a strong understanding of complex interrelationships.

Language Skills

Proficient German and English language skills for professional communication.
