JobsinAustria is seeking an IT Systems Administrator to oversee configuration, maintenance, and operation of our IT infrastructure in Austria. You will manage Windows Server, Active Directory, VMware, and cloud/on-prem environments, ensuring business continuity.

You will proactively monitor systems, troubleshoot incidents, support end users, and document solutions in the knowledge base while collaborating with the IT team and other departments to align with security standards.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in IT/CS.
• Experience in systems administration or IT infrastructure management.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory, Windows Server, and Microsoft 365.

As an IT Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for the configuration, maintenance, and reliable operation of our IT infrastructure. This includes managing servers, networks, and security systems to ensure business continuity and seamless day-to-day operations. You will proactively monitor our systems, troubleshoot technical issues, and support both on-premises and cloud-based environments. Working closely with the IT team and other departments, you will implement solutions that align with our business objectives and security standards.

Aufgaben

Your Responsibilities

• Administer, configure, and optimize our IT infrastructure, including Windows Server, Active Directory, Exchange, Entra ID, DNS, DHCP, Certificate Services (CA), and related technologies
• Manage and continuously improve our VMware virtualization environment
• Administer and support additional IT systems, including Cisco Call Manager, firewalls, VPNs, and backup solutions, ensuring a secure and stable IT environment
• Provide end-user support, troubleshoot technical issues, resolve incidents, and document solutions in our knowledge base
• Create and maintain documentation for system configurations and IT processes
• Lead and support IT projects while continuously improving our IT infrastructure and implementing new IT solutions

• Experience with networking technologies, particularly Cisco and Fortinet
• Experience with Desktop as a Service (DaaS) solutions (Citrix) and Mobile Device Management (MDM), such as Microsoft Intune, is an advantage
• Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server and Salesforce is a plus
