Zusammenfassung

Jobgether is seeking an ISR Systems Technician based in Switzerland to support installation, maintenance, and validation of airborne ISR mission systems. You will work across RF, networking, software, sensors, and mission computing in a fast-moving environment, with travel and independent field work.

The role emphasizes hands-on troubleshooting, system validation, and collaboration with engineering and sustainment teams to keep critical systems mission-ready.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree or 6+ years of relevant experience.
• 3+ years supporting airborne ISR mission systems in field environments.
• Strong radar fundamentals: GMTI, MMTI, SAR, weather and related applications.
• Proficiency with RF test equipment such as spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, signal generators and power meters.
• Strong understanding of RF signal paths, IP-based system interfaces, TCP/IP networking and routing concepts.
• Ability to read and interpret technical schematics, wiring diagrams and engineering docs.
• Experience implementing system configuration changes, software loads, firmware updates, and troubleshooting.
• Windows and Linux administration including scripting.
• Master's degree or 12+ years of related experience is advantageous.
• DoD 8140 IAT Level 2 certification is beneficial.
• 6+ years of experience in airborne ISR is preferred.

• Install, configure, maintain, and sustain airborne ISR mission systems in field environments.
• Perform pre-mission checks and field-level troubleshooting for operational readiness.
• Conduct Windows/Linux admin tasks, including scripting and patch management.
• Use RF test equipment to isolate faults and validate performance.
• Configure and troubleshoot TCP/IP mission networks and routing.
• Support hardware/software integration with engineering and sustainment teams.
• Provide field reports for root-cause analysis and lifecycle planning.
• Travel internationally to support mission needs.
