Jobbeschreibung

Step into a key hands-on role supporting aircraft production in a high-precision, safety-critical environment. This temporary assignment in Switzerland offers the opportunity to work directly on modern aircraft systems, contributing to on-time delivery and operational readiness. You'll join an experienced team where your practical skills and attention to detail will have immediate impact.

About the Role:

You will be part of the production and system integration team, carrying out mechanical tasks across designated stations to ensure aircraft are built, tested, and released to the highest standards. Working closely with other mechanics and engineers, you will focus on hydraulic systems, steering servicing, and general aircraft system testing, with potential involvement on the flight line. Your work will directly support production schedules and aircraft reliability.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform aircraft mechanic production tasks in line with work orders, drawings, and production standards.
  • Carry out system integration work at Station 2, including hydraulic leak rectification and associated checks.
  • Conduct steering system servicing, adjustment, and functional verification according to maintenance procedures.
  • Execute general aircraft system testing at Station 3, documenting results and reporting any discrepancies.
  • Assist in troubleshooting mechanical and system issues identified during production and test phases.
  • Support flight line activities such as pre-flight checks and minor rectification tasks, subject to experience and authorisation.
  • Ensure all work is completed in compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed in the appropriate production and maintenance documentation systems.
Key Requirements:
  • Proven experience as an aircraft mechanic in a production or maintenance environment.
  • Strong practical skills in aircraft mechanical systems, including hydraulics and steering.
  • Ability to read and work from technical drawings, manuals, and work instructions.
  • Familiarity with system integration tasks and functional testing of aircraft systems.
  • Solid understanding of aviation safety practices and quality standards.
  • Capacity to work to defined schedules and adapt to changing production priorities.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work effectively within a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Eligibility to work in Switzerland for the duration of the temporary assignment.
  • EU passport or right to work on Switzerland
Desirable Skills:
  • Previous experience on flight line operations, including pre-flight and post-flight checks.
  • Experience with leak detection and rectification on complex hydraulic systems.
  • Exposure to production environments for commercial or military aircraft.
  • Knowledge of European aviation regulations and quality systems (e.g. EASA Part-145/Part-21).
  • Basic German or French language skills for workplace communication.
Qualifications:
  • Completed apprenticeship or vocational training as an Aircraft Mechanic, Aircraft Maintenance Technician, or equivalent.
  • Recognised technical qualification in aeronautical engineering or mechanical engineering (preferred).
  • Type-related training or courses on relevant aircraft systems (advantageous).
  • Valid maintenance or mechanic authorisations/licences where applicable (preferred).

If you are a skilled aircraft mechanic ready to contribute to a busy production line on a temporary basis in Switzerland, we'd like to hear from you.
