Zusammenfassung

Infineon Technologies Austria AG is offering an internship in layout design where you introduce Unix commands and learn Infineon layout flow under senior guidance. You will perform hands-on tasks using Cadence Virtuoso for basic logic gates and mixed-signal layouts.

As a student in Electrical & Electronic or related fields (7th semester), you will develop professional knowledge, practice layout verification checks, and collaborate with experienced engineers to verify sub-blocks within a floor

Qualifikationen

• Currently enrolled in Electrical & Electronic, Mechatronic, Microelectronics or VLSI engineering in 7th semester.
• Strong communication and proactive attitude.
• Proficient in English.

Aufgaben

• Assist layout design using Cadence Virtuoso under guidance.
• Perform routine sub-block layouts within a floor plan.
• Contribute to basic logic gates and level shifter layouts with layout verification checks.

Your Role

Key responsibilities in your new role

• Introduction to Unix command
• Acquires job skills, learn and practices Infineon layout flow and methodologies
• Hands-on using Cadence Virtuoso tools for the layout design
• Layout design for basic logic gates, level shifter and analog mixed signal layout with Physical Verification Checks with guidance from senior engineer
• The work is designed to develop the professional knowledge and ability of the individual.
• Performs routine assignments of basic cell/block layouts with limited scope to verify sub blocks with a given floor plan and assists other senior engineers in completing tasks.
