Zusammenfassung

Lonza is offering a 12‑month MSAT Mammalian validation trainee position in Visp, Switzerland. You will support process validation activities across Upstream and Downstream operations and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure robust, GMP‑compliant documentation.

You are a university student in engineering, chemistry, or biotechnology, with strong communication skills and attention to detail. Fluent English is required; German is a plus.

The actual location of this job is in Visp, Switzerland.

As a member of the MSAT (Manufacturing Science & Technology) Mammalian organization in Visp, you will be part of a dynamic, high-energy environment that fosters collaboration, continuous learning, and an enjoyable team spirit ( Mammalian Drug Manufacturing | Lonza) .

Duration: 12 months.

What you'll do:

• Support process validation activities across both Upstream (USP) and Downstream (DSP) operations.


• Assist in drafting, reviewing, and executing process validation protocols, sampling plans, and final reports.


• Collect, organize, and analyze process data to support validation assessments and ensure process robustness and compliance.


• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., MSAT Process Experts, Manufacturing, Quality Assurance, Quality Control) during validation preparation and execution.


• Contribute to the creation and maintenance of GMP-compliant documentation related to process validation activities.


• Support investigations of validation-related deviations and contribute to associated change management processes.
