Zusammenfassung

OSCE Secretariat in Vienna seeks an international consultant to develop a joint report on comprehensive and sustainable management of mine water in Kryvyi Rih Iron Ore Basin. The expert will collaborate with national experts to assess environmental risks and propose technical and regulatory solutions.

The role requires PhD-level expertise, a minimum of 8 years' experience in environmental issues, strong drafting skills, and fluency in English; Russian/Ukrainian language ability is an asset.

Qualifikationen

• P4 expertise level in environmental issues mandatory.
• Minimum 8 years of professional experience in environmental issues or related field.

Aufgaben

• Prepare Analytical Report with review of international analogues for discharge solutions.
• Conduct chemical analysis of mine water samples by national teams.
• Propose cost-benefit analysis and options for technological, engineering, or regulatory solutions.
• Identify and analyze international analogues for extraction of valuable components.
• Prepare proposals for identifying useful components and their applications.
• Coordinate with Ukrainian authorities and international partners.
