Job summary

Fabasoft Group is seeking a senior information security expert to advance our information security management system across the organization. You will drive audits, implement controls, and align with ISO 27001, BSI standards, and C5 criteria while collaborating with IT Security and Data Protection teams.

Qualifications

• Higher-level education with a focus on information security and IT.
• Several years of experience in establishing and developing modern information security management systems.
• Excellent knowledge of ISO 27001/27002, BSI standards and the BSI C5 Criteria Catalogue; ISO 27001 Lead Implementer or CISM are advantages.

Responsibilities

• Leverage extensive Fabasoft-specific expertise to continuously develop the information security management system across the Fabasoft Group.
• Review the implementation of information security-related processes and controls, including internal audits.
• Manage the audit program for information security, from meeting requirements to following up on improvements.
• Support stakeholders in designing and implementing processes and controls to achieve information security objectives.
• Coordinate activities with the Security Operations Team and the Privacy Team.

We are looking for additional support for our Organizational Development Team!

Your Mission

• Leveraging your extensive technical and Fabasoft-specific expertise and your practical implementation skills, you will continuously develop the information security management system within the Fabasoft Group to meet the requirements of, for example, BSI C5, SOC 2, ISO 27001 including ISO 27018, NIS2 and the CRA.
• You review the efficient and effective implementation of information security-related processes and controls, for example as part of internal audits.
• External audits and certified evidence demonstrate our expertise. You will manage the audit program with a focus on information security – from meeting requirements and conducting audits to following up on areas for improvement.
• You support your stakeholders in designing and implementing processes and controls to achieve information security objectives.
• You coordinate your activities closely with the Security Operations Team (IT Security) and the Privacy Team (Data Protection).

Your Profile

• You have completed a higher-level education with a focus on information security and IT.
• You have several years of experience in establishing and further developing modern information security management systems.
• You have excellent knowledge of ISO 27001/27002, BSI standards and the BSI C5 Criteria Catalogue. Relevant certifications, such as ISO 27001 Lead Implementer or CISM, are an advantage.
• You are eager to learn, continuously strive to develop yourself, and lead by example in fostering a culture characterized by ambition, responsibility, innovation, and excellence.
• You stand out through excellent communication skills, a strong team spirit, and an independent and responsible approach to your work. You have very good German skills and good English skills.
