Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Chemistry, or a related technical field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as an Engineer or Process Engineer, preferably within IC substrate, semiconductor packaging, electronics manufacturing, or a related industry.
• Hands-on experience with process improvement methodologies and Six Sigma tools such as SPC, MSA, DOE, FMEA, 8D, and 5 Why.
• Strong analytical skills with experience in data analysis and problem-solving.
• Knowledge of project management principles and continuous improvement methodologies.

Aufgaben

• Develop, characterize, and optimize IC substrate manufacturing processes within your area of expertise.
• Define process requirements, evaluate suppliers, and qualify manufacturing equipment and tooling.
• Monitor process performance using statistical process control (SPC) and drive process stability improvements.
• Investigate and resolve process-related issues to ensure high yield, quality, and throughput.
• Design and execute experiments (DoE) to improve process capability, reliability, and cost efficiency.
• Support new product introductions and the successful ramp-up into high-volume manufacturing.
• Create and maintain process documentation while ensuring compliance with quality, safety, and environmental standards.
• Collaborate with global engineering teams, mentor junior colleagues, and support internal and external audits.
