Zusammenfassung

Andritz AG in Graz is seeking a Hydraulic Design & CFD Engineer (m/f/d) to strengthen our Hydraulic Engineering team in the Pump Technology Center. You will coordinate hydraulic developments, run CFD simulations, work with test stand measurements, and contribute to the design of hydraulic components.

The ideal candidate holds a technical degree and has expertise in hydraulic turbomachinery, CFD, and programming (Python/VBA).

Your tasks

• Coordination of hydraulic developments
• Carrying out theoretical studies
• Preparation and execution of CFD simulations
• Guidance and support along test stand measurements
• Evaluation of test results to simultaneously close the feedback loop between theory and practice
• Further development of testing technologies in close cooperation with our testing experts
• Improvement of hydraulic components regarding efficiency, cavitation, etc.
• Design of hydraulic components (impellers, spiral casings, suction elbows, return channels, sealing labyrinths,...)
• Preparation of reports and papers

Your profile

• Technical education (University / University of Applied Sciences)
• Expertise in "Hydraulic turbomachinery"
• Experience in CFD
• Programming skills (OOP, Python, VBA, etc.)
• Knowledge in measurement technology
• Responsible and open to new things, as well as inquisitive
• High level of reliability and integrity, combined with a determined, goal‑oriented mindset

In Austria we are legally obliged to announce at least a gross monthly salary of € 3.802,93 for this position.

Depending on qualifications and professional experience we offer you a market-based salary.
