Job summary

Lam Research in Villach, Austria is seeking a Test Engineer to design and implement efficient testing methods for product development and manufacturing. You will diagnose tests, design test fixtures, and document specifications to improve quality and reduce cycle time.

The role requires a technical education (apprenticeship or HTL Elektronik/Mechatronik preferred) and 5+ years of relevant experience, with hands-on Python and English communication skills.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant work experience.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
• Hands-on experience with Python programming.
• Technical education as described (apprenticeship or HTL preferred).

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement cost-efficient methods to test and troubleshoot systems and equipment for manufacturing.
• Prepare test and diagnostic programs, design test fixtures and equipment, and document specifications and procedures.
• Plan labor, cost, timeline, and equipment required for testing.
• Managing of work packages for Lam internal and external resources, who supports with test fixture design and programming.
• Transfer test fixtures to high volume manufacturing.
• On-site and off-site support for high volume manufacturing.
• Implement new ideas and define new ways of testing to reduce costs and test time.
• Continuous improvement for products, process and manufacturing.
