Job summary

Lam Research Salzburg GmbH in Salzburg is seeking a test engineer who will develop test procedures for new products from pilot to high volume, and resolve manufacturing floor test issues.

You will work across design and supplier engineering, build and calibrate test fixtures, and create test scripts in Python and C++. Strong analytical skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; 5+ years related experience.
• Proficient in Python and C++.
• Experience with electro-mechanical test setups.
• Ability to troubleshoot vacuum, pressure, electrical, and pneumatic systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop test procedures for new products from pilot to high volume.
• Create/test fixtures and test specifications; ensure PDR deliverables.
• Validate new test software and fixtures.
• Design, calibrate, troubleshoot and support manufacturing test fixtures.
• Develop test scripts using Python/C++.
• Analyze test data to improve yield and reduce cycle time.
• Collaborate across design, suppliers, and engineering.
• Present fixture designs and process changes at reviews.
