The role requires a Mechanical/Industrial Engineering background with 5+ years of experience, CAD/NX expertise, and strong communication in English.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field with 5+ years of experience; or equivalent (Technical education/HTL Electrical/Mechatronic)
• Skills in electro/mechanical assemblies and troubleshooting
• Experience with lean manufacturing and Design for Manufacturing methodologies preferred
• Hands-on CAD experience with NX or similar tools
• Excellent oral and written English communication
• MS Office & SAP skills preferred
• Self-managed and proactive working style
• Willingness to travel to suppliers or other Lam locations

Aufgaben

• Verify designs of new modules/products/changes and analyze design for manufacturing
• Combine BOM strategy with manufacturing line
• Review design solutions in terms of safety, ergonomics, tooling, Form-Fit-Function
• Create work instructions and production process steps
• Implement cost-efficient methods of assembly for all phases of manufacturing
• Implement non standard customer requests onto products and transfer to manufacturing
• Support transfer of new products into high volume manufacturing
• Work closely with suppliers and remote factories (including traveling)
• Implement new ideas and defining new ways of processes to reduce costs and assembly time
• Continuous improvement for products, process and manufacturing
