Job summary

i5invest Beratungs GmbH in Vienna seeks bright young professionals for a 3 or 6‑month tenure starting January 2027. You will analyze innovative tech sectors, assist in transaction documentation, and help build business plans and valuations within a fast-paced M&A environment.

Ideal candidates have consulting, IB, or Big 4 experience, strong numerical skills, and the ability to manage work packages with a hands-on attitude. EU citizens or holders of an Austrian work permit are preferred.

Qualifications

• Relevant work experience in strategy consulting, investment banking, or Big 4.
• Excellent numerical and analytical skills.
• Deep research capabilities and ability to evaluate business models.
• Strong MS Office skills (Excel and PowerPoint).
• Excellent academic performance with extracurriculars.
• CEE languages are a plus; international applicants with Austrian work permit preferred.
• Hands-on attitude and ability to start with us for at least 3 months.
• Valid Austrian work permit or EU citizenship.

Responsibilities

• Analyse and evaluate innovative technologies, models, and industry sectors.
• Support in the preparation of transaction documents.
• Support in the preparation of business plans and company valuations.
• Work with the team on M&A projects and contribute to company culture.
• Independently manage work packages with responsibility.
• Assist with corporate development deal flow generation.
