ALDI SÜD HOLDING in Salzburg seeks a seasoned analytics professional to lead and enhance global store performance frameworks. You will work with cross-functional teams to ensure KPI consistency, identify performance gaps, and translate insights into practical actions across multiple countries and store formats.

The role requires strong Power BI and Excel skills, SAP experience, and a deep understanding of retail drivers.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum several years of experience in controlling, FP&A, commercial analytics or performance management.
• University degree in business administration, finance, economics, business analytics or data science.
• Proven ability to analyse large, heterogeneous datasets and translate findings into commercial actions.
• Advanced Power BI knowledge (data modelling, Power Query, DAX) and strong Excel; SAP, SAP BW or S/4HANA experience is valuable.
• Understanding of store economics and key retail drivers (sales density, gross margin, labour productivity, occupancy costs, etc.).
• Ability to challenge data and communicate limitations transparently; comfortable with international stakeholders.

Aufgaben

• Own and continuously improve the global analytical framework for store performance across countries and formats.
• Analyse large store portfolios to identify patterns, outliers and performance gaps.
• Assess performance potential at store, cluster, region and country level and prioritize opportunities.
• Build driver trees and explain variances across sales, gross profit, labour productivity and costs.
• Partner with country Finance and Operations to validate findings and translate into actionable recommendations.
• Develop global benchmarks, peer groups and analyses including store ramp-up curves and scenario-based business cases.
• Design management-ready performance narratives using Power BI, SAP and other data sources with transparent methodology.
• Provide concise, fact-based recommendations to senior stakeholders and contribute to reporting standards.
