Lam Research Austria is seeking a Senior Manager for Global Product Support to lead cross‑functional teams delivering top‑tier service across electro/mechanical equipment, software, and networking. You will define global support strategies, drive launches readiness, and align processes with product roadmaps.

The role requires international travel about 20–40%, and you will partner with product engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain to improve reliability, uptime, and customer satisfaction.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering; advanced degree preferred.
• 10–15 years of experience in product support/field service in high-tech manufacturing.
• 5+ years of leadership experience managing global or cross-regional teams.
• Strong technical expertise in product lifecycle support and RCAs.
• Experience across product development, manufacturing, and field operations.

Aufgaben

• Define and execute global product support strategies aligned with roadmaps.
• Ensure readiness for product launches with service capability and training.
• Standardize support processes across regions for consistent customer experience.
• Lead full product lifecycle support from installation to end-of-life.
• Own escalation processes and drive rapid resolution of high-impact issues.
• Partner with product engineering to drive design improvements.
• Drive RCCA and root-cause analyses across global teams.
• Establish clear escalation processes and ensure timely closure of issues.
• Lead and develop a global team of product support engineers and specialists.
