Lam Research in Austria is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to support panel equipment production within the Global Products Group. You will collaborate across functions to resolve technical, quality and production challenges and help release new products.

Responsibilities include providing technical support on assembly and final test, driving process improvements, creating work instructions, and analyzing build processes for manufacturability.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Industrial, or Mechanical Engineering with 5+ years of experience.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Knowledge of DFMA, SPC, and manufacturing quality systems.

Aufgaben

• Provide technical support in assembly and final test on the production floor.
• Collaborate with Product Group Engineering to correct design errors and drive RCCA.
• Improve manufacturing processes to ensure quality, cost efficiency, and on-time delivery.
• Create and deploy work instructions within Lam’s MES environment.
• Estimate manufacturing costs and determine time standards for new lines.
• Maintain records and reporting systems for manufacturing operations coordination.
• Review new designs for manufacturability and suggest DFMA improvements.
• Analyze build processes via PFMEA to identify risks and bottlenecks and drive improvement.
