Job summary

ams OSRAM AG is seeking a Product Manager for Optical Force Sensing in Austria. You will shape the global product strategy, translate market needs into plans, and drive the lifecycle from concept to end-of-life.

Ideal candidates have several years in product management within semiconductors, optoelectronics, or sensors, with strong analytical and cross-functional leadership skills, and willingness to travel internationally.

Qualifications

University degree in a technical or related field is required.
Several years of experience in product management, product marketing, or business development.
Solid knowledge of optical sensing and related technologies is desirable.

Responsibilities

Define and drive the global Optical Force Sensing product strategy and roadmap.
Translate market trends and customer needs into product plans and investments.
Manage the product lifecycle from concept to end-of-life.
Develop business cases, pricing guidance, forecasts, and profitability analyses.
Support strategic customer engagements with roadmap input and competitive differentiation.
Coordinate launches, enablement, and cross-functional alignment with sales, R&D, operations, and supply chain.
