SKIDATA in Austria seeks a Procurement Specialist to own a varied portfolio, negotiating with suppliers and driving cost optimisation across products, services and indirect topics. You’ll collaborate with international teams and help shape procurement strategy.

You’ll work with R&D, product management, finance and legal to ensure supplier excellence and effective risk management across subsidiaries.

Qualifications

• Completed technical education with a commercial procurement background.
• 5+ years in project or technical procurement, ideally international/multi-site.
• Strong negotiation skills and supplier/contract management.
• Fluent German (C1) and English, both written and spoken.

Responsabilités

• Manage supplier relationships, contracts, prices, terms and risks.
• Develop sourcing strategies via market analysis, tenders and evaluations.
• Collaborate with R&D, product management, and procurement across development to ramp production.
• Support cost reduction, forecasting, stock optimization and order quantities.
• Coordinate procurement activities across SKIDATA subsidiaries and global projects.
• Improve processes via KPI tracking, optimization, and AI/automation where relevant.
